Self-taught or formal training? Self-taught . I don’t believe in artistic schools…how something so subjective as art is can be judge?
How did you get into photography? My sister (she is photographer in AU) get pregnant and in one of bad days she said: take the camera and get out of my eyes because i’ll kill You ( …well hormones LOL) ..I took and never get it back to her. I falling in love in idea to try to show how I can see world
Describe your working style: natural, don’t trying fallowing styles, trends … My way or no way LOL
What has been your best experience so far? Every photoshoot is a unique adventure …Different people, histories, passion. I love work with people. Hmmm…a photoshoot in waterfall in Ireland – clumbing with model and work in freezing water of in april …Lot of fun, laugh and an amaizing model.
What has been your worst experience so far? Be disopointed by people who I trust in industry. So often they forget about past help.
What has been a career highlight for you? Models from all over world coming to Poland to work with me because they respect my work..I had models from USA, AU, Colombia, Dominicana just last year.
How do you define a great photographer? Someone who can show the best side of object – no matter landscape, people or architecture.
With so much competition in the industry as well as the rise of social media “stars” where do you see the future for professional photographers? Uhhhh hard subject…Now everyone who have camera (also in cellphone) calling them self “photographer” …Also industry create trends, they decide what is art or not. In world full of beauty to show it easy to find people with creative minds and sense of beauty. Future? Just forget about pressure, competition, critic and do what U You love to do because this make You happy.
Final note: Whats next for you? Trip to my beloved Australia to visit my family (my father and sister are aussie) to work with wild nature and interesting people. In Poland we have winter now – i hate snow and cold – so I am going to charge my “battery”.
