I started out painting and drawing when I was a teenager and, after a detour into an engineering career, realized in my late 30s that my calling is photography. My images, taken largely in my home city of Los Angeles and surrounding locales, use cinematic lighting to incorporate movement and fashion as well as some architecture into a viewing experience that varies between fine art and editorial and brings the viewer into the imagined world of the photographic subject.
